Frequently Asked Questions

What does FBC have for my family?

There’s something for every member of the family at FBC. From preschool to senior adults, you’ll find small groups, special events, and more designed just for you. At FBC, you can get involved in music, recreation, community outreach, missions and evangelism, and more. Plus you’ll find special events throughout the year including our Missions Conference, Men’s and Women’s Ministry events, Vacation Bible School for children, the Christmas presentations, Community Outreach events, and more designed to help you grow spiritually, fellowship with friends, and reach out to others.

What will my children do during worship/Bible study?

Children are important to FBC! While the adults gather in the auditorium, the kids, ages 4 years through the 3rd grade, will be in a special kid program designed just for them with caring teachers who want to show them Jesus’ love. They will be dismissed part way through the music service at about 11:15 to our FBC Kids program. Preschoolers can be brought to the nursery before morning worship/ Bible study begins and will enjoy a great time of play while being supervised by our well trained staff so you can relax and enjoy the time of worship together.

Where’s the entrance?

You will enter the parking lot on the south side of the church building. The church door entrance will be closest to Wixom Rd./ furthest west. Visitors can also enjoy the visitor parking area marked by signs near the church door entrance.

What do you believe?

You can learn more about what we believe as a church here.

How long is the time of worship?

Our times of worship and Bible study usually will last approximately one hour . We encourage visitors to arrive roughly fifteen minutes before the start of any event.

Which version of the Bible do you use?

Our pastor preaches from the King James Version of the Bible, but we encourage visitors to bring whatever version they are comfortable using and enjoy hearing from the Word of God as we worship together.

Is your entrance and auditorium wheelchair accessible?

Both our entrance and auditorium are wheelchair accessible. Our welcome team will be happy to help you locate seating for yourself and anyone who is accompanying you.

Where should I sit?

You can sit wherever you feel comfortable in the church auditorium, from the front row to the back row. If you have difficulty locating a seat, our welcome team is available to assist you.

What should I wear?

You are welcome at FBC just as you are. We have members in coat and tie, members in jeans and t-shirt, and everywhere in between. We meet to worship the Lord and fellowship with other believers. We believe that it’s the attitude of your heart that matters to God, rather than your physical appearance.

What style of music is used in worship?

The music at FBC is a blend of traditional hymns and modern songs and choruses. We use a worship team, the congregation, and special music all to encourage and lift our hearts in worship to God through music.

How do I get involved in a ministry at FBC?

At FBC, you’ll find ministries and service opportunities that fit your unique talents and abilities. You can serve the community by working on a team that does community outreach; you can get involved in the choir or another part of the music team; you can welcome guests who come to our campus; you can serve on an evangelism team or missions projects; and so much more. Make sure to talk to our Pastor for more info about membership and service opportunities at FBC.
